Meet Dr. Randy Stauffer
Dr. Randy Stauffer was born and raised in Elkhart County. He graduated from Concord High School and then completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University, graduating with a degree in Chemistry in 1991. He earned his DDS degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1995.
Dr. Stauffer purchased his practice that is now called Stauffer Dental Associates in 1996. It has been providing the families of Elkhart and the surrounding areas with a standing tradition of excellence in dental care for many years. Dr. Stauffer and his team look forward to enriching the beauty in your smile for years to come!

About being a dentist, Dr. Stauffer says: “I really enjoy being a dentist. It’s a privilege for me to have anyone place their dental healthcare needs in my hands, and it’s a responsibility I take very seriously. We may very well be in the golden age of dentistry, as dental materials, products, and techniques are ever changing and improving. I believe in offering my patients the latest and greatest of these services. In order to do so, I pursue extensive continuing education. During my career I have traveled around the country to learn from the brightest minds in dentistry, and then I bring what I learn back to Elkhart so I might extend that advanced care to my patients. I look forward to serving you and your family in any way that I can.”
Dr. Stauffer is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Indiana Dental Association (IDA), the North Central Dental Society, and the Elkhart County Dental Society. Additionally, he and his family are active in the community and the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Dr. Stauffer is married with three daughters. He loves spending time with his family, and his other personal hobbies include watching and playing most sports. He is an avid golfer. Dr. Stauffer looks forward to getting to know you and your family, too!

The path to achieving this goal will be different for each individual, but will be paved on a sound foundation of patient education provided by our staff. By thoroughly educating our patients on their oral health, we will be best able to guide them to their goal of optimal health.

I have been Dr. Stauffer’s office manager since 1998. You’ll probably see me first as you come into our office. I am dedicated to taking care of any dental needs you may have. I specialize in dental insurance and patient accounts, and I want you to be able to receive the treatment you need and desire. The part I enjoy most about my job is building long-lasting relationships with our family of patients. I love taking excellent care of you!
My name is Cindy-
I’m our office’s patient coordinator. I am one of the first friendly faces you’ll see as you come into our office, and I look forward to getting to know you. I will help you schedule convenient appointments and also financially plan your dental treatment. We can research and file your insurance, find answers to any questions, and we’re committed to helping you maximize the contractual benefits you have coming from your insurance.
I will do my personal best to make sure that you can feel comfortable and at ease as you await your dental treatment in our office. I have been serving dental patients for over 20 years and I understand your concerns for both your dental health and your financial responsibilities. I am the quarterback for Dr. Stauffer. I have been in the dental field for 14 years and have been Dr. Stauffer’s “right hand man” since 1999. I truly enjoy working with our patients, and I feel privileged to work for such a talented and caring doctor. I find great satisfaction in helping patients achieve their goals of having a healthy and beautiful smile, and in empowering them with the information to make the best decisions regarding necessary treatment.
I am certified by the Dental Assisting National Board in chairside assisting, radiology, infection control, and I have also completed courses in expanded functions.

Hello, I’m Sandy-
I’ve been providing comprehensive preventive dental care for 20 years as a dental hygienist, and I have found it to be challenging and rewarding. I wear many hats as I see many patients every day… I am a teacher, educating patients about oral health issues and better ways to care for their teeth. I am a detective, looking for hidden infection-causing bacteria that leads to cavities and gum disease. And I am the cleaning lady, scaling tartar and polishing your teeth.
At Dr. Stauffer’s office, we provide conservative, minimally invasive dentistry so you can keep your teeth healthier, for longer. With short-term orthodontics (6 Month Braces), laser-assisted cavity detection, and laser-assisted restorations that require little to no anesthesia, we can do it all to maintain and improve our patients’ smiles!
